Weaver Roster Hub

Weavers are the playable operatives in RIFTSTORM, Confiction Labs’ Steam co-op PvE looter-shooter with extraction-lite stakes. Early Access is planned for August 11, 2026—not yet released at the time this hub was written—and the announced launch roster includes five Weavers: Rook, Starling, Hertz, Botsy, and Caracal. Each brings a distinct combat identity, active skills, and passive hooks that interact with in-mission Lythograms and account-wide Periapt investment. This hub collects dossiers, role summaries, and trio composition ideas so your squad can agree on jobs before you queue a Threat mission.

Why Weaver choice matters

RIFTSTORM supports online co-op for up to three players via Steam Lobby and invite codes. Missions scale enemy pressure and reward quality with Threat Level, and extraction-lite rules mean a failed run can scar weapons you brought in rather than wiping all progress. Weaver kits therefore shape not only DPS and survivability but also how safely you can push for one more chest before extract. A balanced trio covers damage, control, and sustain; a greedy trio may farm faster but risks Weapon Scarring when someone goes down at the wrong moment.

Early Access roster at a glance

Rook is the recommended beginner pick: close-combat area denial with Protocol-Grenade, Protocol-Bolt, and Protocol-Mine, plus Squad Synergy bonuses when standing near allies. Starling is the sustained DPS marksman—Concussive Blast, Kinetic Screen, Sustained Salvo, and Momentum stacking for long magazines. Hertz is the resilient close-combat specialist who soaks pressure and remains viable when you queue solo or with a partial party. Botsy controls space with deployable turrets and aura tools suited to chokepoints. Caracal is confirmed for Early Access as an agile ops-style operative—fast repositioning and precision-focused fantasy based on the roster role; specific kit numbers and ability tuning may evolve during EA balance passes.

Plan your trio before deploy

Once you know individual kits, read Trio Comps for RIFTSTORM for role stacks that cover marksman damage, frontline control, and utility. Cross-check picks against the Weaver Tier List and Team Tier List when you theorycraft static groups. The Squad Composer tool helps assign Weaver plus weapon archetype before you share a lobby code from How to Co-op.

Connect Weavers to builds and gear

Weaver passives interact with weapon types and mid-mission upgrades. Starling rewards precision weapons with large magazines; Caracal suits mobile ops loadouts once kit details stabilize at launch; Rook benefits from flexible mid-range options; Hertz scales with health and Lythogram pickups; Botsy extends Lythogram effects to turrets. After you pick a main, layer Loadouts, Forge Center crafting, and Weapon Tier List priorities so each deployment compounds. New players should still begin with Getting Started and Controls before committing to a permanent main.

Future and teased Weavers

Older marketing and alpha coverage mention names outside the EA five (for example Thistle). Those are not confirmed day-one playables. Read Future Weavers before you plan a launch night around an unreleased kit, and track post-launch roster beats on the Roadmap.

Three pages are marked featured because they answer the most common roster questions: Rook for first picks, Trio Comps for party planning, and the individual dossiers below for deep kit reads. Bookmark this hub when Confiction Labs adds Weavers post-launch—the Armory Update roadmap already mentions roster expansion beyond the initial five.
